I also had some wheels like that and needed a thin wall socket to get the lug nuts off. They do look nice though.

I wish I was brace enough to cut into my fenders. I love mine too much to do much to it.

What did you cut it with? A recip saw or a log?

I didn’t care much for that Jeep, so yeah I hacked the crap out of it with a reciprocating saw.
The rears I just cut up to the seam weld and folded them up and under.

One day I plan on getting an older one and going to town on it with a recip saw. My aim is Rick Péwé’s Cherotiki. But with proper reinforcements.
